FORD SETS WORLD STANDARDS
FOR MECHANICAL ACCURACY

The buyer of a Ford car or truck is assured of a product as near mechanical perfection as it is scientifically or humanly possible to produce.

BACK OF FORD PRECISION
Ford accuracy is secured through the use of Johansson Gauges, the most accurate in the world and the official government standards for America, Great Britain, France and all principal countries.
The following are a few of the regular tests on Ford engines:
Main bearings diameter, cylinders, pistons and crankshafts are accurate to 1/1000 inch. Ford timing gears to 1/10,0000 inch.
Each part, whether made of metal, fabric or wood, must conform to definite specifications. During the manufacturing process, careful inspections and tests follow each major operation.

Ford incorporated a large number of electric welds
in the production of the Model A.
