The Judging Standards And Restoration Guidelines
describes five different front backing plates and four rear
plates. The descriptions are confusing to some, so I've
assembled a collection of photos showing the major
differences. The arrows are showing the ribbing, or lack,
and the shape of the adjusting cone is described. Consult the standards for details on month and year
